This crust for pies is a little bit delicate because it can break into crumbs easily. The Kitul syrup is used to replace eggs, and gives the sweet taste.
220 gr rice flour
100 gr coconut butter
5 tablespoons of Kitul syrup
Heat oven to 180ºC
Work with your hands flour with butter until you get a sandy mix.
Add syrup and mix again. You should get a batter that can be easily molded and it doesn’t stick in your hands. If it sticks, then add some flour.
Make a ball and spread with a rolling pin.
Grase the molds for pies and make the forms with molds.
Put the mix into the molds and bake for 10-14 minutes.
